Lost Wi-Fi Connection / Technical Connectivity IssuesUpdated a month ago
If your clock repeatedly disconnects or cannot reconnect:
1. Restart the clock
Unplug → wait 10 seconds → plug in again.
2. Restart your router
Restart your router only if:
The clock still won’t reconnect
Other devices in your home also have Wi-Fi issues
The clock cannot find your network
You recently changed your router settings or password
To restart your router:
Turn it off
Wait 30–60 seconds
Turn it back on
Once the router restarts, return to the clock and reconnect via Change wifi network or Connect to wifi
3. Ensure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is active
Klydoclock does not support 5GHz networks.
If your router uses “Smart Connect,” consider separating:
NetworkName_2.4GHz
NetworkName_5GHz
4. Reconnect using Change/Connect to wifi
☰ → Settings → Wi-Fi → Change wifi network
Select your network and enter your password.
If the password changed, re-enter the new one.
5. Use Wi-Fi Reset if needed
☰ Menu→ Settings → Wi-Fi → Reset
After reboot → Wi-Fi → Connect
6. Test with a hotspot
If issues continue
Test with a 2.4GHz hotspot.
If the hotspot works but home Wi-Fi doesn’t, your router is the cause.
