Sound Settings (Hourly Strike, Chimes, Ticks, Audio, Silent Times)Updated a month ago

All sound settings are located in:

☰ (Menu) → Settings → Sound

Inside Sound, you’ll see these options:

  • Hourly Strike — Plays a strike once for each hour (for example, four strikes at 4:00).

  • Chimes — chime volume

  • Ticks — ticking sound volume

  • Audio — Controls the overall volume 

  • Silent Times — Mutes all sounds during a scheduled time window.




How to Adjust Sound

For Audio, Ticks, and Chimes:

  1. Select the sound type

  2. Use ◀ ▶ to raise or lower the volume



Hourly Strike

When enabled, Klydoclock strikes once for each hour, matching the current time.

For example, at 4:00, the clock will strike four times. This setting respects your Silent Times and Night Mode.

  1. Go to Hourly Strike

  2. Toggle On / Off




Silent Times

Silent Times lets you choose hours when your clock should stay quiet.

  1. Go to Silent Times

  2. Toggle On / Off

  3. If enabled, set a Start and End time

During Silent Times:

  • Ticks, chimes, and the hourly strike are muted

  • Animations continue normally
