Error Messages When Redeeming a CollectionUpdated a month ago
When entering a Collection code, you may see an error message if content filters are blocking the installation. Below is what each message means and how to fix it.
Why does it say “Cannot redeem: PSF content”?
This means the Collection contains photosensitive (PSF) content and the PSF Filter is currently ON.
How to fix it:
Press ☰ (Menu)
Go to Settings → Content
Turn PSF (Photosensitive) Filter OFF
Go back to Collections and enter the Collection code again
Once the Collection finishes installing, you may turn the PSF filter back ON if you want.
Why does it say “Cannot redeem: age-restricted content”?
This means the Collection contains 13+ (age-restricted) content and the 13+ Filter is currently ON.
How to fix it:
Press ☰ (Menu)
Go to Settings → Content
Turn the 13+ Filter OFF
Go back to Collections and enter the Collection code again
After the Collection is installed, you can turn the 13+ Filter back ON if you prefer.
Important notes
Filters only affect installation, not already installed Collection
Turning filters back ON does not remove Collections that are already installed
